At ThePluginWorks Ltd, we specialise in developing powerful, user-friendly WordPress plugins designed specifically for clubs, societies, and membership organisations.
We understand the unique needs of groups that rely on member engagement, event management, and simple admin tools—and we’re here to provide the digital tools that make all of that easier.
Founded in the UK, ThePluginWorks is an independent software company created by Stuart Moodey, a seasoned web developer with over 20 years of experience building websites, custom tools, and WordPress solutions for clients across many industries.
Together with Clo, who oversees operations and marketing, we’re building a focused business with one clear mission:
To make running a club or society simpler, smarter, and more connected—using the power of WordPress.
Having worked with many clubs and member-led organisations, we noticed a gap in the WordPress plugin market:
too many generic tools, and not enough solutions tailored for societies, lodges, sports clubs, and member-based groups.
So we set out to fix that.
Every plugin we create is designed with real use cases in mind—RSVP systems for social events, event calendars for clubs, member management tools, and more.
Whether you’re a small lodge or a national society, our modular approach means you can start simple and add more features as your needs grow. And because it’s built on WordPress, you’re always in control.
We’re not a big tech company. We’re a small, focused team who care about our customers, build responsibly, and stand behind everything we create.
If you’re a club secretary, event organiser, or society webmaster—we’re here to help make your life easier.
